Background:
Cara was on a pathway to Harvard; hard worker, amazing grades, and amazing with a computer. Everything was going smoothly for her until her parents were killed by a Demon. At least that’s what she was told by the ones who found her incapacitated in an alley way where she had last seen her parents alive. She was later taken in by the same people who found her, who she later would learn were called “The Pillar”. She was taken in by this group because they felt bad for her but because they needed her and her skills. As she is a very skilled hacker and all around computer genius, “The Pillar” found her to be an essential piece that they were sorely lacking.

A few years later when Cara turned 20 she found herself learning more and more about the organization. After finding out their true goal she left without a word. A few months later after stabilizing with a job and an apartment she started to hear noise around the internet about “The Pillar” planning something big. Her first instinct was to just let it go and never touch the subject again, but of course she couldn’t do that. Over the next week she continued to get more and more information, the only thing she couldn’t find was when. Since the police wouldn’t take any information without a when so she decided to check the location out for herself.

She found herself standing out of what seemed to be a nursing home. Why would they be targeting a nursing home? She had wondered. Cara had checked and rechecked the location and still couldn't believe this was the target. As she walked closer to the building she started to feel as though something was off. A matter of seconds later a string of blasts went off within the home, the last of which was planted at the door way a matter of ten feet away from her. She had flinched just enough so that the blast got her shoulder and back, but the blast knocked her out.

When she came to she was in a hospital bed with her wrist hand cuffed to the railing. She was confused and later understood why. The Police blamed her for the bombing and the deaths of almost three hundred people all because of the tattoo on her right arm. All the other lawyers wanted to do was put a member of “The Pillar” away for life, to make a point. They didn't care whether she had done it or not they just wanted someone to blame. Through the long trial she found her will to fight against the allegations begin to dwindle. She was given a plea bargain towards the end that her lawyer begged her to take because he didn’t even believe that she was innocent. The plea bargain was to go to jail until it was time for her death sentence to be carried out or she could join a program called Devil which would probably end up killing her. She chose the Devil program.

Extra:
- “The Pillar” is an organization that some believe is linked to the D'avanti criminal group and others just believe it’s just a well organized gang.
- “The Pillar” actually killed her parent’s not a Demon and Cara doesn’t know about it at all.
- She has burn scaring on her right arm and along most of her back with a little venturing up on to her neck. This scaring is still very tender so touching it would be very painful and might trigger her short temper.
- The ones who know about her trial normally want nothing to do with her.
- For at least a month or two after being taken into the HQ she is depressed and probably won’t want anything to do with anyone (including her partner)
